We are a small business with a limited season for operating — cancellations on your part are very hard on us! As a result, we must adhere to our policies even in cases of last minute trip cancellations on your part due to personal injury, sickness, or a personal emergency. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

Cancellation – Foul Weather: Trips depart rain or shine! Cancellations on our part due to foul weather are very, very rare. We do not guarantee good weather. We do not issue refunds due to weather. During our summer raft trips, the weather is usually beautiful. Rain showers, if they do occur, usually pass quickly so don’t get discouraged if the weather looks overcast the day of your trip. If it does happen to be overcast or raining the day of your trip we have complimentary splash jackets and wetsuits available at our shop. Consider bringing along a fleece, wool or non-cotton layer to wear. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

Cancellation – Wildfires and Smoke: We cannot guarantee clear skies during the summer, and we recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances. It is very rare for us to cancel a trip or close our lodging due to wildfires or smoke, but in such an instance, we will reschedule your reservation for a later date.

Cancellation – Natural Disasters, Terrorism, Acts of God, and Other Unpleasantries: We must adhere to our policies even in cases of last minute trip cancellations. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances.

GROUP RESERVATIONS POLICY: Your deposit will confirm your reservation for your trip and date. Groups of 10 or more must pay the balance of their trip fee two weeks prior to departure. Groups also have 14 days prior to their trip to cancel with no charge. Cancellations within 14 days of departure forfeit the trip fee. Cancellations within two weeks of the trip date or no shows the day of the trip will be charged the full price of the trip.

Normal daily trip departure times are 9 am for morning half day and full day trips, and 2 pm for afternoon trips. We regularly adjust the departure times to better accommodate a group’s schedule.
